DSC_8399-2.jpg

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and mother of two, currently practicing in Katy, Texas. I work primarily with children, teens, parents, and adults. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Tulane University and both my Masters of Science and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University, an evidence-based program approved by the American Psychological Association.

I completed both my internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  Throughout my training, I gained experience treating individuals across the lifespan and of diverse ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds. I have provided services across a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, university clinics, a federal prison, and an emergency shelter for children. I have also served as a case manager for a multi-faceted intervention aimed at reducing aggression in children (funded through the National Institute of Health and the Hogg Foundation).

During my internship training at Nationwide Children's Hospital, I gained experience in multiple pediatric clinics, including the Autism clinic, headache, rehabilitation, hematology/oncology clinic, sleep clinic, and sickle cell disease clinic. I also provided outpatient therapy for children and teens as well as conducting a variety of evaluations. My fellowship training focused primarily on providing outpatient therapy for children, adolescents, and families with a variety of issues, including ADHD, disruptive and aggressive behavior, and anxiety and mood disorders, as well as gaining extensive training in conducting cognitive, ADHD, psychological and psychoeducational evaluations. I also enjoyed giving educational presentations in the community as well as through Nationwide Children's Hospital ADHD Academy.

I am a member of the American Psychological Association and the APA Division for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. I am passionate about helping parents feel confident and successful on their parenting journey, and helping kids and teens learn the skills to manage whatever challenges they may have, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, or learning challenges. Life is inherently hard - I would love to work together to help your children and teens overcome emotional and behavioral challenges, empowering them to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
